In Gwangyang, Mt. Baekun stands majestically and blue Seomjingang River flows winding. Especially, in the spring, in Maehwa Village, which embraces and turns with the Seomjin River, while embroidering the Mt. Baekwoonsan, the full-blossomed Maesil (Ume) flower provides a splendid view, as if this snow flower has been scattered everywhere.
Special products such as the Gwangyang cucumber, exported to the Japan, Maesil (Ume) products, spotlighted as a health aid food, green tea from Mt. Baekwoonsan, the Gwangyang chestnut and Goroshoe which is mysterious medicinal water, are other attention-grabbing things for the tourists.
